What do we offer?

General questions about products & solutions

We supply linear actuators, linear guides (individually and as complete systems), screw jacks, intelligent electric motors, worm and bevel gearboxes, a large selection of servo and magnetic couplings as well as some special couplings, freewheels, drive shafts and shaft joints, gear technology, machine feet and other machine components.
Positioning, lifting, adjusting, and cycle flow in assembly, packaging, intralogistics, special-purpose machines, test benches, and automation.
In consultation with our suppliers, we take safety factors, service life, and thermal limits into account and recommend the appropriate series.
Standard components can be selected immediately and are usually available for delivery. Configurations combine modular parts, especially for linear systems, motors, gearboxes, and screw jacks. Special solutions include customer-specific adaptations such as special bores and gear teeth, including drawings and samples.
Yes, our components are generally compatible with IEC B5/B14 and common servo flange designs. Adapter plates and shaft designs are available.
Depending on the component, we offer aluminum, steel, stainless steel, or (special) plastics. These can be anodized, galvanized, or painted. Depending on the series, protection classes up to IP classes are possible, as are ATEX variants after testing.
Low backlash and high rigidity reduce positioning errors, improve dynamics, and repeatability. The optimal combination depends on load cases and drive control.

The service life depends primarily on the respective component and is generally influenced by the load pattern, lubrication, environment, and installation situation. We provide maintenance recommendations on request.
Technische Antriebselemente works with a network of European and Asian partners and carries out selected machining processes itself. We provide product-specific information on the origin of our products.
How do you order?

Questions about offers and the ordering process

Please use our contact form or alternatively send an inquiry to sales@tea-hamburg.de. Send us your technical requirements, optionally with a drawing or sketch. If you are looking for a specific product, please also let us know if you would like us to send you alternative products. We will then check the design and feasibility and prepare a quote.

Stock items are available at short notice, configured systems within defined project timescales. Custom-made products are scheduled according to design and material availability. In the event of delivery bottlenecks for individual products, we can usually help with alternative solutions.
Volume discounts and minimum order quantities are possible by individual agreement, as are framework agreements with call-offs.
We offer parcel, freight, and express delivery by arrangement, with tracking available on request.
We offer standard payment methods (invoice, PayPal, etc.) and targets after credit checks and consultation.
You will receive an order confirmation and, if necessary, tracking links. Partial deliveries and ETAs are communicated transparently.

Complaints are handled via an RMA number with a description of the fault and photos. Deadlines and procedures are based on the terms and conditions and product type.

We do not currently support EDI, OCI/Punchout, or electronic catalogs. We implement ERP connections on a project-by-project basis.

How can we support you?

Technical questions & support

The basis is always a flat surface, angular alignment, and coaxial coupling. Torques, preload, and end stops are applied according to the instructions.
Greases or oils approved by us (depending on the product) should be used according to the temperature and load range. Intervals depend on operating hours and environment. Many of our products are also low-maintenance or maintenance-free.
We calculate load ratings, moments, shear forces, and critical speeds and validate the reserve. Your load profiles form the basis for this data.
Individual components such as spindle drives, linear units, or couplings are not usually issued with a separate CE declaration of conformity, as they only form a complete machine when combined with other parts. However, Technische Antriebselemente provides all the necessary manufacturer information, material, and safety data for integration into your overall declaration in accordance with the Machinery Directive/Machinery Regulation. Upon request, we also provide RoHS, REACH, and, if applicable, UKCA documentation.
Available classes define play, straight-line running, and repeatability. We select the appropriate class based on positioning requirements and control strategy.
Depending on the series, they can be used in different temperature ranges and in dusty, humid, or splash-proof environments. Options for clean rooms and food environments are available on request for many product series.
First, a root cause analysis should always be performed. In principle, the correct preload, damping elements, alignment, and a correctly implemented lubrication schedule can reduce the loads.
In many cases, this is possible using adapters or replacement components. We will work with you to check the fit, interfaces, and approvals.
Our components support RoHS and REACH. CE refers to complete machines; we provide the necessary information for your risk assessment. UKCA is carried out individually after testing.
General support is provided by telephone and email. Remote diagnostics and on-site service can be arranged individually by appointment. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
We offer training courses, commissioning support, and test reports on a project-specific basis. In addition, we also provide support with the parameterization of our motors.

Technische Antriebselemente has been supporting mechanical and plant engineering with linear and drive solutions since 1964.

Our focus is on industrial mechanical engineering. Delivery areas are agreed upon in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the EU, and beyond.

We work according to established ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015) and documented processes. Specific certificates can be found in our footer.

We cooperate with selected manufacturers and technology partners such as JVL. Details are available on request for specific projects and products.
Our measures include energy-efficient processes, on-site photovoltaics, reusable and recycled packaging, and the reparability of components.
