Völker GmbH, based in Vechta, has been developing high-quality machines for the egg industry as a technological pioneer since 1986. Its egg sorting machines, such as the E-Grader and Novum series, are characterized by high performance and precision.
To meet the increasing demands for speed and accuracy, Völker relies on linear guides from Technische Antriebselemente.
The challenge
With a sorting capacity of up to 25,000 eggs per hour, as is the case with the Novum 70, Völker’s machines must operate with extreme precision and reliability. The challenge was to find a guide solution that could meet these high requirements while also being low-maintenance.
The solution
Our recirculating ball guides offer the necessary precision and load capacity for use in Völker egg sorting machines. Their high rigidity and low friction enable smooth and fast transport of the eggs, which is particularly advantageous at high cycle times.
The result
Thanks to the integration of our recirculating ball guides into Völker GmbH’s egg sorting machines, several key requirements were met at once. The precise guidance ensures significantly higher precision in the positioning of the eggs – an essential factor for sorting accuracy at high throughput rates. At the same time, the long service life of the guides significantly reduces maintenance requirements, resulting in noticeably less downtime. In addition, the low-friction properties of our components enable faster cycle times, which has noticeably increased the overall performance of the machines.
