Our cardan shafts and universal joints easily cope with angular misalignments of up to 90° and lateral displacements between shaft ends. Our extendable cardan shafts are particularly flexible and reliably compensate for changes in length (e.g. due to temperature fluctuations). Choose between:
  • Single-shaft joints (up to 45° angular offset)
  • Double-shaft joints (up to 90° angular offset)
  • Extendable drive shafts for variable length compensation
Available in steel or stainless steel, with round holes as standard or customized (keyways, internal square, cross holes, etc.).

Optimum Mounting
  • Single-shaft joints: Pay attention to angular non-uniformity (cardan error).
  • Recommendation: Use double universal joints or extendable drive shafts to compensate for the non-uniformity.
     
Effective Lubrication
  • Plain bearings: Daily relubrication recommended
  • Needle roller bearing: Maintenance-free - just relubricate the wedge profile regularly
