Linear Guides for Egg Sorting Machines

The Challenge

Völker GmbH manufactures egg sorting and packing machines for the food industry. The linear guides used needed to be resistant to intensive wet cleaning (IP65+), completely stainless steel, and capable of achieving positioning accuracy of ± 0.1 mm at high cycle rates.

Our Solution

We supplied LinRol C-roller guides in stainless steel design with FDA-compliant lubrication. The compact design enabled a direct retrofit into the existing machine frame without modifications. Cycle rates of up to 120 cycles/minute are reliably achieved.

Result

After 18 months of operation, no maintenance was required. The machine availability increased from 92% to 98%. Völker GmbH has been using TEA linear guides exclusively across the entire product line since then.

Linear Actuators for Tractor Cab Adjustment

The Challenge

A manufacturer of agricultural machinery needed a compact, robust linear actuator for height-adjustable cab suspension systems. Requirements: IP67, vibration resistance to DIN EN 60068-2-6, operating temperature −30°C to +85°C, and forces up to 8 kN.

Our Solution

We provided HG2-C7H linear actuators with integrated position feedback and customized connector configuration. The delivery included a pre-assembled complete system with mounting bracket, tested under all specified conditions.

Result

The actuators have been running reliably in series production for 3 years. No warranty claims. Time-to-market was reduced by 4 months thanks to TEA's application engineering support.
