Roller guide systems for regulated and demanding environments.
In the food and pharmaceutical industries, lubricant-free drive systems are mandatory. LinRol stainless steel systems with a lubricant-free option meet the hygiene requirements for conveyor belts, filling lines, and processing machines. They are corrosion-resistant to cleaning agents and disinfectants.
Discuss requirements →Packaging machines operate at high cycle rates and place high demands on guide systems in terms of robustness, resistance to contamination, and low-maintenance operation. LinRol systems stand out for their easy installation, ability to run dry, and long maintenance intervals during continuous operation.
Discuss requirements →Dust, wood chips, and mechanical stress are common in woodworking machinery. LinRol guide systems are resistant to dust particles and do not require elaborate sealing. They are used in feed systems, CNC gantries, and saw carriages for the woodworking industry.
Discuss requirements →Cleanroom applications require low-particle guidance systems that do not release outgassing from lubricants or auxiliary materials. For cleanroom use, the lubricant-free LinRol version made of stainless steel is generally available upon request. Applications include wafer handling, optical systems, and laboratory automation.
Discuss requirements →V-groove rail and guide rollers in a 90° profile — axial (Fa) and radial (Fr) forces are absorbed simultaneously.
Core principle: The rail (BS90X) has an outward-facing 90° V-edge. The guide rail (RK90-E) consists of two slices — The V-shaped tip of the rail fits precisely into the gap between the panes. The 45° inner edges of the panes rest against the 45° edges of the rail’s V-shaped edge. In this way, the system both Fr (radial load, perpendicular) as well as Fa (axial load, lateral) via the same 45° contact surfaces—without a separate counter-guide. The Direction of travel (movement in the longitudinal direction of the rail) is perpendicular to the image plane and is none Direction of travel.
Linear motion: The carriage encloses the four rollers (2×2 arrangement) and moves smoothly along the rail— only the lower section of the rollers, which runs on the rail, remains visible. The rollers rotate with the carriage—no sliding, no frictional heat, long service life.
Backlash-free preload: On both rollers, the pin runs through the center of the two discs. The left roller is centered (fixed axis), while the right one is offset: A hexagon on the mounting plate rotates the offset bolt—the roller moves toward the V-shaped edge of the track, closing the gap. No disassembly, no need to buy replacement parts — The play allowance can be adjusted directly on the built-in system.
Enter the loads, select the operating mode—the tool determines the appropriate LinRol 90° load rating class, the specific complete system configuration, and a direct inquiry path. All in less than a minute.
Enter loads and operating conditions.
Calculate the static weight force F = m · g (g = 9.81 m/s²). Account for dynamic components resulting from acceleration or impacts using the operating mode below or directly in the load input.
The input loads are multiplied by this industry-standard reference value.
Design result
Enter at least one load (F) on the lefta or Fr) — the recommendation appears immediately.
Note: This design tool is intended solely as a preliminary guide and does not replace a binding design assessment by qualified personnel. Service life, combined load cases, moment loads, and installation tolerances must be reviewed during a binding design consultation . Technische Antriebselemente GmbH assumes no liability for damages resulting from the use of the calculation results.

Yes — the standard LinRol version is lubricant-free and maintenance-free. This makes it particularly suitable for cleanroom, food, and pharmaceutical applications where lubricants can cause contamination. Cleanroom use is generally possible upon consultation.
Yes, LinRol guide rails and rollers are available in stainless steel. The stainless steel variants meet the requirements for use in the food and pharmaceutical industries in terms of corrosion resistance and cleanability. For valid standards references and certificates, please contact our sales team.
We keep standard sizes of the LinRol guide system in stock at our Hamburg warehouse. Custom lengths and stainless steel variants have longer lead times. For binding delivery times, please contact our sales team at sales@tea-hamburg.de.
Yes, LinRol guide rails are manufactured in custom lengths on request. In addition to length, the hole patterns, mounting options, and material variants can also be individually adapted. Please contact us for design advice.
LinRol is based on a V-groove/roller system: the rollers run directly on the rail, providing simple, robust guidance that is highly resistant to contamination and easy to install even when the geometry is not perfect. Profiled rail guides offer higher precision and rigidity, but require a cleaner installation environment and are more maintenance-intensive. LinRol is particularly suitable for medium accuracy requirements in harsh or hygienic environments.

The LinRol 90° complete system is available in four load-capacity classes: Class 1 (Fa 1,200 N / Fr 600 N), Class 2 (Fa 1,600 N / Fr 2,000 N), Class 3 (Fa 2,400 N / Fr 2,600 N), and Class 4 (Fa 6,400 N / Fr 7,000 N). For higher loads, the LinRolHD heavy-duty line supports radial loads up to 63,600 N (dynamic).
For current certification documents (e.g. FDA, EHEDG, EU Food Contact Regulation), please contact our sales team directly. Our stainless steel variants are available with the corresponding material certificates on request.
In addition to custom lengths, hole patterns, and stainless steel or hygienic variants, coatings (e.g. for the military sector) and customer-specific milled features are possible. Please contact us with your requirements.
