PSG Roller Guide
The PSG roller guide made by HA-CO is an economical roller guide with rail and slider plate made of stainless steel 1.4301. The raceways sit inside the rolled profile, which makes them less sensitive to dirt. Eccentric rollers set the slider free of play. Besides the fixed bearing rail PSG there is the floating bearing rail PSL, which compensates for parallelism deviations between two rails.

Notes
- The load ratings apply equally to RLS and RLE sliders. Resulting moments must be absorbed by two rails and/or two sliders per rail.
- Floating bearing rails PSL do not take axial forces (across the rail, along the roller axis); C₀ axial therefore applies only on the fixed bearing rail PSG. Wipers are not available as standard for floating bearings.
- Roller temperature range: stainless steel 2RS with food-grade grease −30 to +100 °C; steel 2Z with high-temperature grease −30 to +160 °C (size 22) or −30 to +120 °C (33 and 44). Ex works, the manufacturer additionally applies a light coat of rolling bearing grease that is not food grade.
- E = distance from the first hole to the end face. Recommended: low-head screws to ISO 7380, property class 10.9; rail tightening torque on request (inconsistent in the manufacturer catalogue). The wiper suffix appears as ".S" in the order codes and as "-S" in the catalogue.
- End stops only prevent the slider from running out of the rail. According to the manufacturer they are not designed for higher forces and do not replace the end stop or buffer of a driven axis.

Frequently Asked Questions
With two parallel rails, the fixed bearing rail PSG takes over guidance as well as axial and radial loads. The floating bearing rail PSL has flat raceways, compensates for lateral parallelism deviations of the mounting surfaces and takes radial loads only. The mounting surfaces do not need to be reworked.
According to the manufacturer, the stainless steel rollers with 2RS sealing (RLE sliders) are lubricated with food-grade grease, operating range −30 to +100 °C. Ex works, however, the manufacturer additionally applies a light coat of rolling bearing grease that is not food grade. For food applications we clarify lubrication with you before ordering.
Yes. Besides the standard lengths from 240 to 6,000 mm in 80 mm steps, HA-CO makes custom lengths and custom sliders on request. For custom lengths we need the required distance from the first hole to the end face. Longer rail systems can be joined from several rails after prior review by the manufacturer.
